Botanical Calendar 2026
Welcome to Plant Hawke’s Bay’s gorgeous 2026 calendar – $20 each.
Check out the fantastic botanical artwork by Southland artist Jude Taylor in our 2026 calendar.
The paintings and stories focus on some of the rare and special plants we grow at the nursery. Her illustrations bring to life the plants and the associated insects that live on them. Some of the insects are the Red Admiral butterfly and the ongaonga plant, stick insects on kanuka, and the looper caterpillar, which makes holes in the kawakawa plant.
Every plant has its own story, and its own place in the world.

We love Kākābeak and have been helping to revitalise its population around Hawke’s Bay.
It’s a beautiful plant with vivid red flowers shaped like a parrot’s beak.
We’ve packaged these beauties up in a gorgeous wrap with the plant’s story along with care details. This will make a wonderful present for friends, family and school teachers!
