Every couple of months a group of plant enthusiasts gets out and about in Hawke’s Bay’s special plants to look at and learn about native plants. All are welcome.
Recent trips have been:
- June 2025 Te Mata Park to learn about ferns with Te Papa’s Leon Perrie and Lara Shepherd
- April 2025 Otaia/Tukituki Scenic Reserve at Waipukurau
- October 2024 Swamp Track, Ruahine Range
- August 2024 Pakuratahi Bush, a PanPac owned QEII covenanted bush block north of Napier
- February 2024 Puahanui Bush, Gwavas
